The US Department of Agriculture and Department of Health and Human Services jointly released new Dietary Guidelines for Americans, and they have included some drastic changes. One of the most noted revisions is the elimination of dietary cholesterol as a “nutrient of concern.” They also removed an upper limit on total fat consumption.
